How long does window replacement take?
Most Calgary homes are finished in one to two days once the windows are built. Our crews replace each opening the same day it is removed, so your home is never left open overnight.
How much does it cost to replace windows in Calgary?
Cost depends on the size, style and number of openings, plus the glass package you choose. Your in-home estimate gives you a written price per window with no obligation to book.
Can you replace windows in winter?
Yes. Our crews install year round and work one opening at a time, so heat loss stays minimal. Winter is often the fastest time of year to get scheduled.
Do I need a permit to replace windows in Calgary?
Like for like replacements usually do not need a permit. Enlarging an opening or changing an egress window can, and we will tell you at the estimate if your project is affected.
Should I repair or replace my windows?
Hardware and weatherstripping can often be repaired. Fogged sealed units, rotted frames and windows that no longer close properly are usually better replaced than patched.
Do you put the interior trim back after installation?
Yes. Our crews carefully remove the existing trim where possible and reinstall it after the new window is set, then clean the glass and the work area before leaving.
What warranty comes with replacement windows?
Our windows carry a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and specific components. The exact terms are set out in our warranty documentation.
